I know a lot of hispanics, mexican and south american and central american who will not date a black male.Yes, this is mostly because of their family dogma which another poster referred to previously, but only for whites.Personally, I don't care if he is blue or green so long as he treats my daughter right.I have never heard of mixed race couples with one black partner having problems other than maybe the occasional strange look. There are certainly mixed race couples in areas like Hyde Park and Oak Park and I mean where one partner is black and the other is not, but this is less common in other areas.
To be brutally honest, most of my hispanic, asian, and white friends will date outside of their race excluding people of african ancestry. And before a bunch of posters say I need to get new friends how many of you have family that doesn't consider themselves racist but would have a problem with their daughter dating a black man?
I am excited about this meetup, and gaining new members and friends. Our branch groups are The Topaz Club(an online group especially for partially Black mixed women) and Biracials & Friends(an adult social group that plans parties and outings for multicultural singles, interracial couples and their friends- see our Facebook page!
) Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
Right or wrong people in Chicago tend to view only relationships with blacks as interracial.
It is extremely common to see white/hispanic/asian/middle eastern/indian couples.
